How we work
Primary school De Zeester in Monster is a WSKO school that wants to let children shine and flourish. The school was the first Google Reference School in Dutch primary education, and therefore places clear emphasis on digital skills within education, in a positive and safe school atmosphere.
De Zeester works from the idea that all children become stars, if you let them shine. That positive basic attitude is reflected in how the school looks at each child's development: not from shortcomings, but from talent and possibilities.
The school has distinguished itself as the first Google Reference School in primary education, meaning digital tools and modern teaching methods have gained a firm place in the curriculum. This makes De Zeester a school that leads the way when it comes to the use of technology in the classroom.
The school also attaches great value to a positive and safe school atmosphere, in which children feel seen and are encouraged to get the best out of themselves. The school has existed for more than ten years and has used that period to further develop its own educational approach.
