The Dalton location of OBS De Driekleur works according to the five core values of Dalton education: independence, responsibility, collaboration, effectiveness and reflection. At this school, children learn not only to gain knowledge, but also to make independent choices in their own learning process and to reflect on it.
The school is one of the three locations of OBS De Driekleur, a collaboration of three pedagogical approaches (Dalton, Montessori and Avonturier) under one public governing board. At the Dalton location, the emphasis is on challenging pupils to show their abilities within a structured, independent way of working.
The school has recently created a new green-blue schoolyard, with pupils involved in its design via the Dalton council. News items and photos show an active, practical atmosphere with a lot of collaboration in the classroom and attention for digital skills.
