Placement
After the registration period, all registrations are processed together. Within one week you will hear which school your child has been placed at.

What happens after your registration
1
All registrations together
Registrations from the same period are reviewed together. Registering earlier within that period gives no priority.
2
Placement by preference
The schools you listed are considered, in your order of preference.
3
Outcome within one week
You receive an email about which school your child has a place at.
4
Enrol
With that message, you finalise your child's enrolment at the school.
More registrations than places
Sometimes more children register than a school can place. Then the next school on your list is considered. That is why it is wise to list three schools.
The priority rules
Are there more registrations than places? Then the school first applies the priority rules. There are two priority rules:
1. Sibling. A brother or sister already attends the school. This rule applies at all schools.
2. Childcare in the same building. Before turning 3, the child attends a form of childcare in the same building as the first-choice school for at least four months, two half-days (8 hours) per week. This rule does not apply at all schools, check per school.
The priority rules only apply to your first-choice school. Where you live plays no role: there is no priority based on postcode or distance to the school.
