What if a school is full?
It can happen that there are more registrations than places. Then we look at the next school on your list.

It can happen that there are more registrations for your first-choice school than there are available places. In that case, a draw takes place.
How does the draw work?
After the priority rules have been applied, the remaining places are drawn under supervision to ensure a fair process.
What if your child is not drawn?
If your child cannot be placed at your first-choice school, we check if there is a place at your second-choice school. Is that also full? Then we look at your third choice.
Listed several preferences
Did you list several schools and does your child receive a place offer from a lower-preference school? Then you can take part in the placement improvement round: an extra round in June and December where you still have a chance at a school higher on your list (see below).
Not placed at any of the schools
Can your child not be placed at any of the three listed schools? Then the coordinator will contact you. Together you discuss the options and look for a suitable school.
Haven't found a place yet?
There are almost 50 schools in Westland. We will help you keep looking.
