Enrolling after a place offer

A placement message is not yet an enrolment. With that message, you report to the school to finalise it.
Enrolling after a place offer
After receiving the place offer, you finalise your child's enrolment at the school. This is a different step from registering. When registering, you indicated a preference; when enrolling, you confirm the placement.

What do you need?

For enrolment the school asks for a number of details:
✓Your child's citizen service number (BSN)
✓A valid form of ID for your child
✓Your own contact details
✓Any medical information or information about extra support

When to enrol?

Along with the place offer you receive an enrolment form. Submit this form within 14 days. If you do not accept the place offer or do not respond, the place may go to another child.

No longer need the place?

Not going to the offered school after all? Let the school know as soon as possible. They can then offer the vacated place to another child during the placement improvement round.
